FRESNO COUNTY EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
FRESNO, CA, Thursday, April 1, 2021 – The County of Fresno has been awarded approximately $30 million from the United States Department of Treasury and the California Department of Housing and Community Development for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program for individuals affected by COVID-19.
This program will assist renters who have been unable to pay their rent due to the financial impacts of COVID-19. The County is partnering with RH Community Builders to administer the program. Applications will begin to be accepted on Monday, April 5, 2021. Eligible households must reside within the County’s jurisdiction, including county islands within the cities of Fresno and Clovis. Please note the City of Fresno received separate allocations for this purpose, so City residents should contact the City for information about their program.
